Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup Soya Chunk


  • overnight soaked soya bean 1 cup


  • wheat flour 1 cup


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 cup hung curd


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp jeera powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp Garam Masala


  • 1tsp Kala namak


  • 1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 Tbsp mustard oil


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 piece hot coal

Directions

  • heat up the water in the pan and mix one teaspoon salt
  • Add soya chunks in the hot water and boil for 5-6 minutes
  • Now put the cold water in it and squeeze all the water.
  • grind it in the mixer and make a smooth paste
  • likewise put some water water in the soyabean and make a smooth paste
  • mix both the paste, flour and salt and form a dough
  • make chapaties of this dough and cut slanting strips.
  • Now take an ice cream stick and wrap according to the picture
  • Boil these sticks in the water for 10 to 12 minutes
  • In a bowl mix curd , salt, red chili powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste,kala namak, jeera powder, lemon juice and mustard oil well.
  • Now wrap this mixture on the soya chaaps and shallow fry them
  • Place a small bowl in the middle of these chaaps put hot coal in the bowl and then some ghee on it , cover the plate with the lid
  • It will give a nice aroma...serve these chaaps hot with dip or sauce.
